    First Traditional

Well, I just ordered my first traditional kilt yesterday from Alexis Malcolm. Unfortunately, she can't start it until the last week of July. Her prices were very reasonable and she seems very good about giving advice on your purchase. Let the jonesing begin!

The last time I spoke with her, I also got the impression she is a very nice person. One of these days I will be able to order one myself.....

That is wonderful to hear! Hope that you will enjoy it, just remember to be patient.

Does anyone else get excited about hearing about someone getting a new kilt, especially if it is traditional?

I can't help but get excited whenever I hear about someone expanding their kilt collection.

I find myself getting even more excited when I see someone else in a kilt; downtown, on the trail, at a pub, wherever. Its a comraderie thing, I guess.

    Cheers

Well, I got an email this morning that said she was ordering the material. One step closer, and just a little more anxious.

Yes, and then I usually start looking at my own finances, seeing if I could put off paying one thing and maybe order a new kilt. "Well, now I have 2 kilts on order, and that credit card doesn't need paid off THIS month...." ;)
