Fishing Kilted
I often go fishing near Ballater, Aberdeenshire, where there is a little private fishery. Always kilted. Its the best thing to wear.

I seem to recall Arlen posted some pictures of him fishing kilted. Try a search of the picture section.

Anyone walk-wading while kilted on stream?

Why not... Extremely comfy... and other fishermen just may leave you alone in your area..hehehe.
I like the idea of ROCK CLIMBING kilted. It can be truly called "Free Climbing."

A kilt would be just the thing for wet wading or small freestone streams that you can fish from the bank. I wouldn't want to stuff one in my waders.

I always wear my Kilt and that includes fishing. I will usually wear a Kilt that I don't mid getting wet and don't worry about shrinking (Such as PV) if I am going to be wading.
Here's a picture of me fishing in the White cart river a couple of years ago before I left Scotland.

Arlen, that scene makes me want to get my flies out and go fishing!

Not fishing, but regimental "chumming."

During the summer I usually wet wade the streams out here and have done it kilted a couple of times. Very comfortable, easy to get around, and bugs don't seem to bother me. However, the river water really smells bad on a kilt when dried. I accidentally left one of my SWK's in the back with the rest of my gear for two to three days and eventually noticed a really foul smell. My kilt with dried river water. I'll do it again this summer when the water hits the upper 40's to 50 F temps.
