Five Days Kilted!
Just got back from five days of bagpipe camp (AKA North American Academy of Piping and Drumming). Thought it would be cool to wear kilts each day so took three with me - Prince Charles Edward Stewart, Grey Green Fashion Tartan and County Antrim. Surprise! - I was the only one kilted out of nearly 90 for the first three days then joined by two Utilikilts. Thursday evening we did provide a massed pipes and drums for Grandfather Mountain, more than 60 pipers and 20 drummers and most wore kilts for that.
Even so, it was a good experience to be kilted for so long and a good practice for next month. I have ankle surgery scheduled for Aug 3 and will be in a cast for six weeks and figure that kilts are much more practical than trousers for that time.

All the power to you Brian. And yes for the upcoming recuperation a kilt is in order. Perhaps you can get a perscription for one as a medical appliance. I was covered for a $1500.00 knee brace prior to surgury so a $800 wool tank is a bargain!!!
