Flying Kilted to the Rocky Mountain Highland Games

My parents in Highlands Ranch, CO suggested the weekend of AUG 13-14 to visit them, as that's also a Games weekend:

It will be my first flight since getting my new hip that I won't be able to go through a metal detector without tripping it, so I'll make it easy for TSA: I'm not even going to TAKE any p@nts on the trip.

Sounds like a great plan Dale. Please keep us posted as to how your trip through the TSA security goes. It would be interesting to see if the kilt aids you in your processing.

Don't know if I'll go both days, but given that the event is sort of "around the corner" from where my folks now live it's a possibility. Figure on Saturday for sure.

I flew kilted both to and from Ontario recently. It was easy peasy.

Make sure you go "regimental" and ask them to take you to secondary! lol!!

Stop by the Clan MacLea (Livingstone) tent also. I'll be there and, I believe, Kyle MacLea will also be there. He is also a member here but not on often.
