Flying the X Marks Tartan Colors

I know a lot of us now have X Marks tartan kilts. And I know there have been gatherings of X Marks tartan kilts.

This afternoon I got to wondering what unusual places, or gatherings, that all of our X Marks tartan kilts have been to.

Mine isn't too exciting. Off the top of my head Sandia Peak above Albuquerque, the Hopi reservation, the Navajo reservation, The Gathering of Nations in Albuquerque, and Pride in the Pines Festival in Flagstaff, Arizona. And, of course, a bunch of highland games.

What interesting or unusual spots has your X Marks tartan kilt visited?

Who joined a "free" kilt board and probably has $1,000 worth of X Marks tartan kilt, vest, flashes, kilt pins, & t-shirts now. It is a beautiful tartan though. Hopefully, the tips and info on this board have saved me at least that much over the years.

    Ron,
This is a great, great idea.
    I see great stories coming...
and lots and lots of photos...
Now I just have to get my X-Marks tartan kilt...(just got put on the Wizard's order board).

And by the way, Ron, those locations you mentioned, not too shabby a start.

Mine has crossed the Atlantic three times, twice eastbound and once westbound.
Kilt was built in Canada by Freedom Kilts from Canadian Fraser and Kirkright fabric.
I took it back to Canada to wear while on holiday there last summer.
