    Fort Lauderdale

My wife and I have this Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, while we wait for the cruise boat to leave on Sunday.

Is there anything kilt related to do in Fort Lauderdale? I went to the town's web-site and did a few searches, with no luck.

I would guess there must, at the very least, be an Irish pub somewhere.

you may have to go to Miami there are a lot of pubs down there and it is a nice drive if you have a car.

Won't have a car, and I don't think I will rent one for just a day. May just walk the beach. - but I would hate to get back and find out that I missed out on something out of ignorance........ not that, that would be a new experience..... ..... I sort of glumph through life - - but happily!

Hope you and your wife enjoy the cruise. My wife and I have discussed going on an Alaskan glacier cruise hopefully next year.

Thanks - I'm taking the camera, and will post some flix on return. I almost dread the number of posts that I will have to catch up on when I get back and first log on. Internet access is available on the boat, but at $0.64 a minute, I don't think I'll be on line much.

Although, that comes out to $38.40 an hour, and I know I will drink more than that...... Might, just be something to do if I can't sleep?

Do a Google Search for "Fort Lauderdale irish pub". There are 4 pages of them.
