Free Beer!

If you are a member of our board in recovery, please don't take offense to this post.

I have a question... as many of us have been known to "frequent a pub or two", how many of you were ever given free drinks (beer or shots) simply b/c you were wearing a kilt?

at the moment im only 18 and in wisconsin i can only legally drink if a parent gives me one, and i generally dont go out to pubs with my parents, only with friends cause no matter how old you are in wisconsin you can sit at the bar, and generally i stick to ginger ale and a corn beef sandwich, so unfortunately no ones offered me a drink, cept that time in puerto rico, but i wasnt kilted.

Hasn't happened yet, but that is probably more because I rarely get to a pub with the family. Although Derek and I bought each other pints when we were in Wales last year, does that count?

I almost always get free drinks, mostly from kilt loving ladies. On St.Patricks day I had so many girls want a picture with me I started joking that I should charge for it, and I began getting beers in payment
