    Fun at a conference

Went to the opening session of the Grottoes of North America supreme council last night. Had a real good time and thought the rabble on here would like the picture I got of the Grand Monarch. We had a nice discussion about kilts before the event and I promised to wear mine for tonights dinner. Picture is a little blurry (quick shot on my phone) at the hotel in Dearborn, Michigan.

    That is a SHARP look.

Curious, are those sort of double flashes? One high and one low on each side? A new look for me.

Last conference I was at was heavily female and one lady kept passing me suggestive notes about my kilt and what I might be wearing or not wearing underneath. Worked out very well - made a new friend and we got to know each other very very well before the conference was over. Gotta love kilts at conferences!

I believe, if you look closely, that the lower "flashes" are the ends of the laces on his ghillies. He is wearing them tied to the side.

This years Grand Monarch is always Kilted at any events I've had the pleasure of attending. I always wear a Kilt to Grotto or Lodge events. I was not able to attend the Big convention this year due to my work schedule but I thank you for for the Pic so I can see what I missed!

To bad you couldn't be here. I'm enjoying the fellowship amd taking advantage of the opportunity to be kilted.

I'm past Monarch of O-Ton-Ta-La (05) and current Chief Justice.
