Actually, what I remember about Chicago is getting lost after a drinking bout and driving around Cabrini Green (? spelling). The local residents seemed very interested in giving me and my friends directions and would walk right up to our station wagon and try to open the doors to help us. I ran a LOT of stop signs and red lights that night until we found the night club part of Chicago again....
One more reason not to drink....getting VERY lost in Chicago...

Ron, that is not a section of town you want to be in, for the most part, unless dressed in an Abrams tank! Sorry if I offend anybody and maybe it has changed from when I first lived in Chicago for a year in 1992, but it was, and still is I think, an area of low income housing with an extremely high crime rate. What is interesting to me is that it is a very tightly bordered area. Go one block in any direction from Cabrini green and you are into nicer family neighborhoods. Very sharp contrast!

nope, I was doing some environmental work there a couple of months ago, it hasn't changed. I had two armed security guards with me and I was packing too.
Cool story about the bunny but now I got "little bunny foo foo" on a tape loop in my head.
