    The Gate Keeper Kilt..?

    How all!

Now, I have only been kilted for a handful of months now, so I am sure my observant eye is not as experienced as the lot of you fellas. That stated, I was wondering how much different your observation to one matter is.

I was watching the news last night as the sports desk was covering a large fight being held at a casino in North Alberta. The star of the fight (Shonie Carter) was sporting a Black Original UK in his media release. I can't help but notice (myself included), that a great number of "gate keeper" kilts are black UK originals.

I was pondering why, and came up with nothing other then black goes with everything. Have you guys noticed anything similar?

    Cheers and blessings

PS: It felt great to see another fighter sporting some of the gear I sport.

If the black UK is the kilt of the "gate keeper" what kind of kilt is the "key master" wearing? At least the minions of gozer are sharply dressed

I think the black UK or AK, or FK just looks tough. It's got a very industrial look to it and it adds a rougher image than a traditional tartan kilt to people that are unfamiliar with the kilt other than at parades or weddings.

    They Key Master wears prada.

Seriously- I personally like to wear my black AmeriKilt with a white shirt and white hose. It looks very formal. No one else I know wears kilts at all, though, so I haven't had the same kind of experience.

Sorry, gate keeper is a term where I am from. It signifies the thing someone either has to do or chooses to do in order the get in/ fit in.

Ex: Gary Goodridge was considered the gate keeper in K-1 because all the new guys had to fight him.

Is it really that uncommon a term in the USA?

Sorry, I was forced to watch Ghostbusters 3-4 times this past Halloween season and it just stood out to me, hence the reference.
