Gol'darn it!

For our wedding, I got an accessory set including sgian dubh, kilt pin and cufflinks with our clan crest in pewter.

Went to take my shirt off yesterday and only had one cufflink

Gonna have to buy a new pair

Now the big question is, having costed from different suppliers, do I get crest and tartan in enamel , or pewter the enamel ones look good, but the pewter would match the set and give me a 'spare'...

First off, congratulations on your wedding, Martin! Too bad about your cufflink, though. It's hard to see the detail on the enamel cufflinks, but they look a little too "busy" for me. I prefer the pewter ones, and, like you say, you'll have a spare. I look forward to seeing your wedding pictures!

Hi Martin.
Congratulations on your recent nuptials.

Pewter every time. Much more understated.
Best Regards John

Macman,
Thanks, it was actually 3 and a bit years ago.
I'll try to dig out the pics and do an album. Both my son and I got a lot of praise and "Aren't you handsome!" comments.

Hadn't thought about the detail on the enamel ones, they just looked quite nice.

Oops! I took it to mean that you were taking your shirt off yesterday before you . . ., well, after your wedding!
