    Wink A good friday night

After a long and arduous week it was time for the Young Dubliners with the Fenians opening at the House of {everything except} Blues at Downtoon Disney (Anacrime).
First was a guy walking across the parking lot that yelled "Real men wear kilts !" (response "you're damned right") "Aren't you cold?" - 'course not .., two Anahiem cops a bit later, "check it out, a kilt", two women walking past me in mid-sentence "now that's nice", and a guy in an Iron Maiden shirt "killer outfit bud". Not a harsh word or sideways glance, now that was fun.
A woman that's knows me from other venues told me the girls behind me were trying to look under my kilt while I was dancing (cool!)and the bartender that remembered my newfound liking (ok, love ...) for Skyy Orange and Coke.

For the record my black CAT boots were buffed up so they had a hint of a shine, my heather grey Boulder kilt from SK, black leather sporran, kilt hose from Brewins & Co. in lovat blue that matched my "Sleeps well with others" T-shirt (don't tell Hamish I didn't iron my kilt beforehand ... )

CT - and who are all these numbers on my cell phone?

    Secondarily

Oh yes, more fun than a barrel of monkeys (kilted monkeys no less).
Yes I'll make it up for beer night, told my boss to plsn on NOT seeing me that friday at all, getting a ticket on Southwest later this evening.
Pictures if I get any from the few people I know that had cameras, I didn't even think about it.

Now Chris Pierce of the Fenians had his leather custom made (and OH my GAWD!!! ) expensive kilt on, an older Gent in a tan kilt of some sort too.
No other kilties seen (not that the vodka had ANYTHING to do with that ...)

I like my new Boulder so much I'm again thinking of throwing my UK on Xbay.

CT - other comments overheard still unclear (but waaaay positive ...)

    I'm blaming ..

    Skyy vodka .................

Didn't think to take a camera, didn't think to use my fancy hell phone either

The good news is more of these shenanigans will be taking place in the next several weeks, SOMEBODY ought to be able to get film on it.

(yes the Boulder is an SK. The UK tends to flair open at the bottom even after being ironed and I'm not liking that)

CT - tuesday is International Talk like a Pirate Day so ya know.
