The good news keeps rolling in!
As y'all know, I started a new job today. I'm now working at a customer service call center. I went in in p@nts today, but not tomorrow. It is a casual office, and we have almost complete freedom of dress. So tomorrow I will be wearing my Black Watch! My supervisor was very amused to see the big smile that couldn't have been knocked off my face with a brick. Given my notions of dressing for work, I will most likely always be the best dressed person in the office!

Congratulations, that sounds like a job where your employer values you as a person and a job worth keeping.

I've known several people who have worked for call centers. As I understand, many of the centers had almost NO dress code. One in particular told me that a girl showed up in pajamas and fuzzy slippers daily.
