My week has been good too. A no bus day, so no students, then a no school day as the schools are closed then finding out the Maple Leaf tartan is coming in April major excitment and on top of it all lots of time to work on a couple of experiments, then realizing March Break starts this friday I will be able to finish experiments and ashow them off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is this the tartan you will be using in your June workshop?
I also acquired 4 yards of this exquisite fabric. Now, to find the time to squeeze in a kilt (or two or three) amongst the home rebuilding/improvement projects...

I've considered getting one of those long-tails in the past. How far down do they go on you?

That's the plan. The American Heritage resembles (to my eye) the tartan in "Tunes of Glory," and I want a kilt that looks like those. Plus, it also goes perfectly with my Customs dress uniform (not that I'll probably ever wear the two together, but the thought's been in the back of my head since seeing a kilted Border Patrol honor guard five years ago).

At six foot and skinny, the shirts hang down an inch or so past my crotch.
(There's a sentence that will probably get me in trouble with the mods, but it's the most descriptive I could get without )
I am easily moved for sympathy for dogs, far more so than for humans, because dogs do not understand. There is no way to explain that you will return, that the vet will make it all better, that they cannot go shooting today because that is not what today is about. They cannot work out that their misery is finite and will some time end, and so their misery is magnified.
