    A good Sunday :-)

Well, I wore my newest kilt (a DIY Black Stewart) to church on Sunday and got lots of smiles / comments
My wife got called into an office for a meeting, and right away a lovely young lass cornered me to talk about her growing up in Scotland and how she loves to hear one of her neighbors practicing the bagpipe on some evenings.
I had one really BIG smile from one lovely, and another who asked said that "you gotta love a man in a kilt!". She then asked me if I wanted to learn how to do the fling

All in all, it was a great day. I do have pictures but.....that #$%^& photobucket thing isn't working for me. I wore my white arctic acylabeast sporran too and it went well with the outfit.
I'll post pics if I can ever get the thing to work.
I can email pics if someone will post them for me.
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

    WHAT? What's "the fling"?

I think she meant the Highland Fling. I've heard of it, but maybe someone else can enlighten us more.

    Youtube is your friend:

....though, it's sort of the stereotypically referred to Scottish dance...like the Irish Jig, the Viennese Waltz, the Polish Polka, an American Indian Rain Dance...lots of joking references in vaudeville bits and in Three Stooges shorts.

An excellent Sunday for you. Others too are encouraged in the presence of the kilted man.

I suppose she could have meant the Highland Fling, or....... ;)
I may have to change religions, or at least visit your church someday.
