Gordan Highlanders from What Price Glory
I ordered the Gordan Highlanders Kilt from What Price Glory yesterday. I've had been looking at it for a long time. They've had it sale at $195 rather than the regular price of $295. That's quite a deal for a 22 oz. wool military kilt, and the reviews have been quite good.
I can hardly wait to experience the feel of a 22 oz wool kilt. And, with the history of the Gordan Highlanders, it's a kilt you can wear proudly.
It's my 29th kilt and my 10th wool kilt. The addiction you know. Just when I think it's under control; alas, I regress.

You'll love it, a very good choice for the winter.

congratulations, you'll love it! it's like a great wool blanket on cold days. I got one last winter when they were at that price, and it's been great.

I hope you enjoy your new kilt. I have the Seaforth Highlander (MacKenzie) kilt from WPG. I wore it to church for midnight mass on Wednesday as the temperature plunged near zero (fahrenheit) with below-zero wind chill.
My knees were a tad cool, but with wool kilt-hose from Matt Newsome and the 22 oz kilt from WPG, I hardly noticed the breeze at the knees.

Congrats! I recently ordered one too--hard to beat that price! Unfortunately the WPG warehouse closed on 12/23 and won't reopen until 12/31 so we'll have to wait...

Would love to get one of the Gordon kilts. Many past family members served with them - both on my side and my wife's side of the family. The trouble is I just ordered an other kilt. Help me brother and sister kilties figure out how I can pull off getting another kilt.

I'm delighted with mine. It's even warmer than a horse blanket and far more fashionable.
Fits better, too.

Do the language laws in Quebec really require you to hire a mime who doesn't speak French if you hire one who doesn't speak English? Could a mime who doesn't speak either fill both roles at the same time? (Thanks to Calvin Trillin.)

IMHO, You will not be disappointed. The WPG Gordon, although I own 3 other MODs, this one seems to end up as my "GO TO KILT"
