Got A New Kilt For My Birthday

Sent my wife a list of potential kilts I wanted last month. This weekend, my new Stillwater Saffron showed up! It was a week late, but still OK by me. I knew she wouldn't pick the most expensive one with the Wisconsin Tartan on it, but being Irish, I really wanted a Saffron anyhow! Looking forward to wearing it out to some event. The weekends are winding down now, so it may be a few weeks before there is a good public drinking event to break it in with. ;)

I second that. And let us know what you think of the kilt after wearing it a bit. I'm contemplating getting the same one.

To be honest ... I gained about 40 lbs this summer! DOH! But, I had her size it to the size I was, not am. So, I need to loose at least 20 of those lbs before being seen in public with it. It's really tight right now. She laughed when I tried it on. Incentive! We have a program at work for the next 8 weeks. The person who looses the most percentage of weight gets a cash check. I am entering that contest! Pics owould have to be after at least 4-6 weeks.

As for how I like it ... It loosk great. So far just looking at meself in the mirror, I am happy with the choice. I'll let you know about the functionality of it in a few months.
