    Got new Stillwaters today

I got my 3 new Stillwaters today: Black Watch 16 oz. wool, Black Stewart 2006 Standard, and Hunting McLeod 2006 Standard. They are are beautiful, but that 16 oz. wool Black Watch is something to behold. It feels like it was taylor made for me. And heavy - I never realized a kilt could be so heavy! I need that walker they gave me after back surgery just to hold myself upright with that 16 ouncer!

I planning on getting 2 more Stillwaters when the 2006 models are available: The Irish National, and the Royal Stewart.

The Black Watch was only $159 + $10 shipping. I'm amazed that Jerry can sell a 16 oz. wool kilt for that amount.

Ordered them Wednesday and they were hear today (Friday). Barely enough time to spell jonesing.

My dad just got his new Stillwater 'Nightstalker' today, after along delay with Canada Post (Boo!), because of the holidays. This is his first cilt and he loves it, my mom does too, but that's too much information . So now I have to finish his sporran than he'll be set.

How do you like the Standard MacLeod kilt? My 8 yard wool kilt is a MacLeod, and I have the Heavyweight Black Watch when the heavyweight first came out. How bright are the colors of the MacLeod? I notice the Black Watch looks almost all black from a distance. Also how does the Standard compare to the Heavyweight?

    Congrats on the new purchases!

I'm seriously thinking of buying a couple of Standards from them, the Hunting McLeod and either the Nightwatch or the Black Stewart. Gotta ask the wife which of those she likes better. I wish they'd add the Gordon to the Standard line as I like that tartan as well.
