    Great news

Well this weekend (if we don't get hammered with snow) we will be taking a trip to Phoenixville to visit our two favorite kilt makers at USA Kilts, I have been having difficulty deciding on a tartan. I really like the clark tartan because it is for clerics and scholars so I thought that would do, since I do have a bachelors degree from a jesuit school.

While discussing this with my wife, she said that she wanted one of the tartan skirts USA Kilts has, so I told her that whatever one she choose, I will get a kilt to match it. I think it will be great to go out in matching tartans, and I am sure my wife will look great in whatever she chooses. It will kind of go against my grain of only wearing universal tartans, but I will do the research on whatever I choose and wear it with pride, and know the history. A new kilt what a joyful weekend it will be.

Good luck with the weather, PK. That nor'easter looks like it might be for real. It could even screw up our kilt night in Binghamton.

Yeah we're showing snow as a real possibility for tomorrow so definitely be careful out there on the road....

PK, our weather guy here in Altoona tells us to expect 6 - 9 inches of the white stuff unless we get a strong easterly directed wind in which case Harrisburg and east will get the brunt of the storm! I'm willing to get the 6 - 9 if it means you'll get to USA kilts in Phoenixville. Have fun but be careful...and post the pictures when you get your matching tartans

Thanks ByDand, I appreciate it, you would think with three of us in the car from Buffalo we could probably make it either way, but being from Buffalo we know when to stay home and when to go. If we don't make it this weekend we will be in King of Prussia for the Mid Winter festival on Sunday, maybe we can stop in then.

they are calling for 6-12 inches in the Philly area and we don't know how to deal with snow like they do in Buffalo. As you probably know Rocky will be at the Midwinter fest next week.

    Keith,

Glad to hear that your wife is so supportive. Definetly a peach. Be careful on your journey, and enjoy the new Kilt.
