Greathighlandwear update
hi,
what i can do honestly for you is....
if you can pay again 60% of the amount you paid last time, i can make and send the order to you.
i am giving you 40% discount, and when you will place the next order i will give you 60% discount, so that you can get the items, and within this time period you money will be save also.
Anything else i can do?
Regard,
Marina

hi,
another unhappy customer, i am really tired..
straight answer is this that S. Ahmed has sold the company, and we are trying to fulfill the order which he got the never sent.
we have a policy if some one can pay 60% amount of his order, we can send their order, and will left our 40% profit.
we offer paypal, which is very secure for you.
can you bear this straight answer?
Thanks
Miss Marina

Explanation of this series of emails
I sent these bandits ,Greathighlandwear, $494.00 in november 2009, as full payment for goods ordered from their web site, it is now june 2011, i have recieved nothing !!! I occasionally email them ,''just for sport'', the post above is the last communication i had with them, in march of this year, if you read from bottom to top, it will make sense. They wanted me to pay again !!!! So please be very wary of this outfit. Anyone else who has had dealings with them, i would like to hear from you.... Cheers..

It sound like Mr. Ahmed has sold the company and its criminal practices, to boot. I seriously doubt you'll ever get anything you've ordered from them, and a lawsuit would be next-to-impossible and more expensive than the $ you've already paid. If you knew someone in Pakistan who could go to their factory and rough somebody up, that might get results.
On the other hand, I bought a pair of buckle brogues from this company, in the same town as GHW claims to be, and it was honest and straightforward and I received my brogues sooner than the company anticipated.
Bottom line: GHW is crooked, deceitful and deserves to be burned to the ground.

Greathighlandwear, Sialkot ,Pakistan..
Hey David, I am the Q/M for a pipeband, & someone told me about their website, it looks good & the prices are good.
After i realised i had been'' ripped off'', i did some research, i contacted the pipeband on the greathighlandwear home page, They are from Canada, & GHW claim to have supllied all their uniforms, which is completly bogus ,as i spoke to their band manager in Ontario. The pic is still on the site. I have reported them to IC3 the internet Crime center, i think a few other people have also reported them. So now nearly 2 years on, they are still at it....& our band is $494.00 out of pocket. Crime does pay !!!

Like piperbdh, I've also done business with Geoffrey. Top notch service from them. Sorry you got ripped off by the other company though. That really stinks.

That's unfortunate but not surprising to hear. I believe Ahmed was a member here briefly before he left or was driven out. (Can't recall which...)

So... just to make sure I understand what happened. You paid in full up front, never received your merchandise, contacted them, and they kindly offered to send it to you once you paid a second time? Is that about the gist of it? And then they asked you if you can actually understand their "staightforward" answer?!?! So not only are they con artists, they actually seemed to get indignant when their con didn't work on the same person twice as if you are the one who's done something wrong by not taking up the rear twice. Is that what I'm reading in those emails? It can't be, because that makes no reasonable sense! But it sure seems like it... I had considered getting a doublet from them... Glad I didn't!!

Hey Nighthawk, you are reading it correctly, I have saved all the emails from these jokers, this time last year, they were promising to send half my order this week & the other half next week, Guess What !! nothing was ever sent & now another year has gone by & still nothing.
I do not expect to ever recieve the goods, but every now & then i send them an email, just for a laugh, to see what ridiculous answer they send me & then I try to advertise it ,as a kind of public service message so noboby else gets taken in by their B/S.
It is a shame because Sialkot, Pakistan seems to be ground zero for the Highland uniform business, Bagpipes,Mace's, etc.
I thinks these thieves should be exposed, so i am just doing my bit !!!!
Thanks for your comments....JM
