Guard's Flashes?

Hello all!

I'm planning on ordering some red flashes from Carrynette.com (good experiences with them in the past - I like them). but when I thought it would be easy to buy an extra pair...OH NO! different types of flashes

Now there's the option named guard's flashes...what type is this? anyone got a picture of those?

A friend of mine has a pair of each, and he wears a different colour on each leg-- just like running lights on his yacht.
(I think these are actually worn by the Scots Guards pipe band, but I'm not certain.)
