    Haggis Fat Choi

Was watching CBC and they had a collection od stories on Vancouver. One guy they talked to was Todd Wong whou gave Bear a little plug. He was wearing a Maple Leaf Bear kilt and specifically mentioned Bear.

The segment was filmed last Monday and it was going to be a longer piece, but unfortunately, they have to cut the piece down to 2 minutes. I am glad that Todd gave a shut out to Bear. The Kilt Looked Great!!!!

I just watched the piece but I am looking forward to the dinner next year. I probably will be bringing the whole family, 5 of us, and meet other Kilted Chinese.

Actually, Todd picked up the kilt tonight and rushed off to do this segment. He did film something else with the CBC last week, too.
There was a pretty good shot of the kilt and my new sporran with pockets that I lent to Todd. It was just a two minute segment but he did manage to get in a, "It was made by my good friend Bear at Bear Kilts."
    That played across Canada!

It was a good program on the culture of Vancouver. It really seems to be a unique city. Todd made one comment I really liked. Incorporating all the cultural elements gives you more holidays. Todd looked great in his kilt.

    culture...

Incorporating all the cultural elements gives you more holidays.
That is a great quote, Bubba!

I visited Todd's site, and I found it to be very enjoyable to see the fusion of Scottish, Chinese and Canadian culture -- I would love to be able to go their Burns Nicht -- Burns would no doubt approve, as "man to man, the world o'er, shall brithers be, for a' that!"

Our St. Andrew's Society President was born and raised in Brazil (her parents are still there as missionaries), and she wants to do a Scottish-Brazilian night for the society -- she is fluent in Portuguese and it's nice to see the fusion of the cultures there.

    Cheers,

    T.

Shoot, I thought the CBC segment was supposed to air tonight, not last night. That was what I read on Todd's site. Sorry I missed it. A good plug for a great company Bear. Keep up the good work.
