    Hair Sporrans

Are these two sporrans the same? I do realize it may be hard to tell from the pic's but they do look like the same model of sporran.

I'm no expert but I believe they are the same.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

    Question

Without actually seeing them they are hard to tell if they are different!

They may be the same, however I would bet that the photo has been stolen and that is why they appear to be the same.

They may be the same sporran, but if you look closely, you will see that they are two different photos.

They do appear to be one in the same type of model...but it is tough to tell from the pics alone.

That is Ian's creation from gle garryhats.com . He did a whole line of "antique" style sporrans inspired from the Clans od Scotland book. His stuff is made in Pakistan, so it may be the same maker.

Great info! Thanks all. The support and information available here never ceases to amaze me! Membership here should be mandatory before buying a kilt. There'd be a lot less people getting ripped-off by unscrupulous businesses and wildly misleading e-adds!
