    Half Century Reached

On April 14th I turned 50 and to celebrate I threw a party. Here's a couple of photos I wish to share with you.

To surprise my guests, I engaged the services of a piper. This is Mr Alistair Robertson

    The evening finale.......

    Thanks for watching. Cheers

Do I detect a Keppoch tartan?

All in all looks like a wonderful time. I hope to be kilted when I reach half a century.

Congrats(?) I'm 2 years and a few weeks behind you. You can kid yourself on that 47 is mid 40's but 48 is late 40's which is nearly 50. I've barley got used to the idea of being 'middle aged' and now I'm nearly eligible to join SAGA which is for 'old people'

I'm off to the gym in mo.

    BTB good pictures.

    Is that a 'gram-o-phone', granddad?

The 'Eathen in his idleness bows down to wood and stone,
'E don't obey no orders unless they is his own,
He keeps his side arms awful,
And he leaves them all about,
Until up comes the Regiment and kicks the 'Eathen out.

Do I recognize a bit of Black Isle tartan in that kilt of yours, and Muted macDonald of Glencoe in your piper"s? They look better on you two than mine do on me.

Congrats on the milestone birthday. I am a little over a year on the backside of the same one. Life only gets better with age and time, like Scotch in the barrel.
