Look on the bright side Hamish - when the going gets tough, you have all those lovely kilts to wrap yourself in. I grew up just east of Brighton (Seaford) - take a walk along the Seven Sisters if you have the energy. Best wishes...

Thanks Dee, and everyone else. Sadly, I have been obliged to withdraw from the Ferintosh March Burns Weekend. Hopefully, I might have begun receiving radiotherapy by then but, in any case, I could not comfortably make the journey from Storrington to Dumfries. Surely you will have a fabulous time - I will be thinking of you all up there, of course, and wishing so much I could have made it too.

    Take care,
    Ham.

    Hamish,

Prayers will be sent skyward from my wife & I. Hang in there & continue to be strong and positive. Good mental health & a positive outlook are some of the best medicines. With a good doctor & good friends & family supporting you, all things are possible. We miss you Sir & patiently await your recovery & return to XMarks.

    Best wishes,
    Zach & Rachel Caselman

Hamish, you have the prayers and best wishes of our family with you. Do know that there are plenty of us that have been through similar. Both my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law had colon cancer and ended up with colostomys. This was over 25 years ago. My Father also had colon cancer 10 years ago but is still there for Mom. With our support and prayers along with your positive thinking we know that you will get through this and have kilt No. 110 on order. Stay strong my friend.
