    Help! What is this?

This was given to me with the statement, "This was my father's. I don't know what it is, but he said it was to be worn with a kilt."
The fur pieces were said to be beaver, but they feel more like dyed rabbit.
    Any ideas,
    Ron
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

I believe what you have there IS...Lady Gaga's fur lined double eye patch.

But seriously, I have no idea.

Looks to be one of them things they throw at people's ankles in order to trip them.

Are they pouches? Maybe they tie around your waist under the kilt to provide some protection on especially chilly days...

Keep them safely for 15 to 20 years and then pass them on to someone half your age. They will be an heirloom by then and his problem.

Great answers in the absolutely no help whatsoever category.
I thought they might be drone ties for the pipes, but that's stretching.
