    Hey, High-schoolers...

How about a duck-tape kilt for your prom?

The 2006 Duck brand duct tape Stuck at Prom® Scholarship Contest challenges high school students to create and accessorize their prom formalwear with America’s favorite fix-all – duct tape. Rather than throw hundreds of dollars into a dress that another classmate might also wear to prom, students can invest a few bucks into some rolls of duct tape to craft one-of-a-kind outfits that are sure to steal the spotlight.

Not only can students get creative with their prom wear, but they will also have the opportunity to make college a little more affordable. The couple receiving the first place title will receive a $6,000 cash scholarship for college.

Duck® brand duct tape is available in more than 18 colors and patterns, so students can pick their favorite color combinations, get creative with their accessories, or even keep in-line with the hottest fashion trends. And, with choices like Duck brand Funky Flamingo® duct tape, and colors and patterns like camouflage, purple and black, the choices for creativity are endless!

See...if I was still in high school this is what I would do....

The woman who is the team medic for my rugby club has a daughter that made her entire dress out of Ace Bandages...dyed them bright red...it was interesting.

Hmmm....duct tape kilt....something tells me Matt would kill me if I sent him a few rolls of tape to make my next kilt in...

There's nothing like duct-tape to bring out the creative side of people.

For a kilt, would "scotch" tape be more appropriate?
