    Highland Granite-Arrived Today.

A cheerful day-my new Hill-Walker in Highland Granite by Hector Russell arrived today.

Well made and a great fit.

Whilst the grey on grey on grey effect is most striking, and much admired by herself.

However when I said 'aha the girls will really go for me now'-she looked and looked again: and then suggested that my best chance would be at the short sighted section of the old folks home.

Excellent always good to hear of a new kilt being received.
How about some pics, and details like cost.
But for the grace of God go I.

I really like what I've seen of the highland granite tartan, James: let us know how faithful the color on your monitor was to the fabric, if you would.

Price-I hardly dare write it myself £325-but for a tailor made kilt here in the UK not so bad.

As for posting pictures-not within my range.

A bit lighter than other pictures on this board-but the effect of at least five greys is quite amazing, and to my mind very effective.

    Sounds great James, and congrats!

I have a trad on order for one in Highland Granite myself from our own Barb T. The tartan is really spectacular from what I've seen.

Well, the price makes the blood drain from my head, but it's a bloody gorgeous tartan. Excellent, and enjoy it....Oh and pay no heed to what herself has to say about the lasses....*grin*
