The Highlander Magazine?

I had someone in a store recommend The Highlander Magazine to me. Looked on their web site but couldn't tell too much about. Any recommendations here?

I really enjoy it.

It is not as slick as say
Scottish Life or Scotland Magazine.
But the articles go into much more detail. It also is a good resource for clan and
game information. I get all three magazines
and I would say I read it the most by far. You also get more for your money
in the number of issues.
The other 2 magazines have only four issues a year while The Highlander comes out seven times a year.

Thanks for the info. We currently pick up Scottish Life and Scotland Magazine and enjoy both. Both have good articles and I'm just looking for something else to get a good feel for Scotland and I'm also looking for things info for things in the U.S.

I'll get a subscription going....

I used to get other Scottish magazines--Scottish Life and others I can't recall now. They were all of some interest; some were concerned with contemporary Scottish news, some devoted to travel articles, but the only one I get now is The Highlander, as it seems to have a lot of emphasis on Scottish history, which is a particular interest of mine.
