    Honor Guard

I just got off the phone with a firefighter from the local department. They are interested in teaching some of the guys bagpipes for their honor guard. You may be asking, "But Greg, how does this affect you?" Good question. They want me to teach them! I'm the only bagpiper in town (that I know of) and apparently, one of them heard me perform at church. So now, they're going to make me an honorary firefighter to be leader of the Honor Guard!!! Not only is this a HUGE honor (I've wanted to be a firefighter since I was 5), but they're providing me a uniform, which, soon, will include a kilt!

Yay! New kilt! Yay! More bagpipers!

I'm really excited about this project.

    Thumbs up

Obviously you're doing things right to be granted an honor like that. Very good for you.

I agree, if you have input for the tartan the WI Tartan looks great.

I'm familiar with the Wisconsin tartan. I know the guy who designed it. He owns the only kilt in that tartan. I like it a lot, I'm just worried about cost.

If you can get the thread counts you could see what Matt Newsome can do for you.
