    Hoot-mon!!!!

It was snowing like no body's business this morning, so much so that I slid off the interstate (no damage to me or the car) and I got in about an hour late. The cop did a double take when he opened the car door to see if I was ok. He could see that I was kilted but he didn't say anything though. He had other things to deal with

I finally get to work, I'm walking into the front door of the building in wind and blowing snow in my Black Stewart, and this lady behind me says "hoot-mon!" I guess it's an ok thing. She was smiling :-)

Hey, I'm ok...the car's ok, and I"m kilted. Life is good

Hope you didn't have to dig yourself out to get back on the road! And very glad you're OK - hooting or otherwise.

I've only slid a car on ice, twice and I REALLY didn't like it,either time. Glad you and the car are OK.

No, I didn't have to dig out because there really isn't a grass median at this place. All that was there was these concrete barriers, which I hit, but all it did was get my paint.
Let me tell you there's hardly any worse feeling that having brakes and a steering wheel that are absolutely useless and seeing concrete coming your way. (multiple expletives thought but not said...too busy!)

I recall hearing "Hoot Mon" in old Bugs Bunny cartoons in TV, from the "scottish" character... don't recall HIS name. It's always me smile to hear that. Don't think I've EVER heard this exclamation in regards to sex though.
