Hello, i just received my hand knitted hose to match my isle of skye kilt (they look brilliant ) and was wondering would i still wear my isle of skye flashes or is it a bit too much?

    Thoughts?

When I get my tartan hose, I'll be wearing solid color garter ties. You might want to try that. Tartan flashes will all but disappear against tartan hose. And if you could see them, it would be too much.

If you want to wear flashes instead of garter ties, I'd suggest white, to enhance the white rakers in your hose.

I agree, the tartan flashes would be a bit too much if the hose are in the same colors.

I agree you wouldn't want to loose them in the color of your hose.

Solid flashes. My mother always told me to NEVER mix plaids and patterns.
