Skeen - Do (or du, due, whatever makes the most sense to you)

EDIT: Wow, the responses come fast and furious (there were none when I started my post)

I suppose one could also say, "just like its spelled".

I've actually heard people pronouncing it "Es-gee-an dub-ha" though.

EDIT again: Actually, for the plural isnt it Sgian's Dubh, as dubh is the adjective "black" and sgian is the object "knife"?

Whats the gaelic rule when it comes to that?

.. the kilt had concealed a blaster strapped to one thigh and a knife to the other. He was aware of the present gentle customs against personal weapons, but he felt naked without them. Such customs were nonsense anyhow, foolishment from old women - there was no such thing as "dangerous weapons," only dangerous people.

Surely that is pronounced 'Skane Jew' ??, and that is nothing like how it is said.
The nearest thing I can come up with is Scottish for a pigeon on the piste!!!
    A 'ski'in doo' !!!

I would break it down as such:
    Skee-in doo

Funny how there are so many ways to try and communicate a few sounds!
