Talking How does this happen??

So I've just sent my kilt back to USA Kilts due to some measuring inaccuracies on our part... I admit, it was a little hard to package it up and send it back to them but I knew it would come back a better kilt...

In the meantime, I stumbled on an old thread in the "For Sale" forum, which I peruse through but typically never have money to buy anything... My sweet Bride was sitting next to me and when I showed her Paul's thread selling the MacLean of Duart kilts for next to nothing, she said, "Well, I don't care if you want it..."

My usual, calm, sane, non-impulse mind went BERSERK!!! Did she just say-?? Really??? Before I knew it, the freedom my wife (did I mention just how beautiful she is??) had just given me and the 're-jones' for my USAK took over! In a blur of PMs and PayPal accounts, it was done! I'm now the proud owner of a gently used 16oz, 8 yard MacLean of Duart very soon to be on its way from Scotland!

....it really IS an addiction, isn't it??

Congrats on the new kilt. You best hold on to the wife and tell her, not just us, how beautiful she is. Congrats again.

Congratulations. Isn't nice to have a wife who supports you in your pursuits. Look forward to seeing the photos.

You had better start figuring out exactly how to thank her, and soon.

Here's to wives who love kilts!

Amen on the wives who love kilts! I'm a lucky man, and no mistake! I told her by making me actually think about getting it and giving me 'permission' to consider the possibility, she may as well have saved up $600+ and surprised me with a new tank! I'm sure you guys can relate. As husbands and fathers, we strive to provide for our wives and children first and think of ourselves last... I guess I sort of forgot how to buy something just for me. My wife gave me the gift of a reminder!

Oh and there will be thanking, and that's a fact!

How does this happen? VAST AMOUNTS OF LUCK. And waiting and watching...

and the occasional back rub or foot massage.
