How to have your spouse Tell you to get a new kilt

This plan was accidentally discovered after no testing whatsoever.

While wearing my pricey 16oz kilt, somehow that swish met some wet paint while supervising apartment painting. On and RED, Green, black kilt the white really stuck out on the edge of the pleats.

NNNNOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! All hands cleaning station stat, the people in the building know I love my kilt, and I do not live there.

No paint into the fabric, just on the edge of some pleats. Cleaning solution was pick and let dry on surface, it was carefully done and flaked off without damage.

The family pursestrings are loosened for two play kilts. Yes!

My wife loves the tank alot more than I realized. With Feb backpacking trip on the calendar there is now concern someone will be kilted.

    WOO HOO!!

That is certainly a near disaster with a happy ending! I've never had my wife suggest to me that I buy more kilts, but I think I'll pass on this method of trying to get her to do so - I don't think my ticker could take it.

You have presented some helpful information for anyone that gets into a similar predicament with paint. Congratulations on the "go ahead" to purchase two more kilts.

    Very nice!

My wife knows me...when I show her a tartan, she says: "when will it arrive?"

It sounds like a plan, but I wouldn't get my tank anywhere near wet paint, I'll figure out another way. It really would be nice if my wife would suggest getting another kilt, right now I am still trying to convince her she needs to get her a long pleated tartan skirt, a sash and a broach.

Ya see I have the opposite issue; my wife loves kilts as much as I do. So you ask why is that an issue? Well, if I want a new kilt, I had better be ordering one for both of us! Yet I love to see her in a kilt, so “our” collection is growing slowly.
