    How many do you own?

I'm somewhat new to kilts and am probably too into them. There are 3-4 I'm looking to pick-up. I'm wondering how many kilts other members own.

I'm up to 18 now, I've been wearing kilts everyday for going on 3 years.

Like you, I am new to kilts...and like you, I can't stop. I have 3 actual tartans. Black Watch, Black Stewart and Wallace. 3 others that I made myself our out of a generic plaid and I have 2 X-kilts that I made. So, I guess 8 is the number you are looking for. Planning to make/buy more as soon as a home remodel project is over.

five kilts-- all tanks, and all variations on MacMillan. The newest is about 20 years old, the oldest are approaching 40! In my experience it isn't necessary to own more than one or two kilts, as long as they are solid tanks. The only reason that I can think of for buying a kilt is to replace one that I've out grown.

So many tartans, so little cash.

I'm not addicted.. really... maybe... just a little ?

Remember, it's not about how many you own, but how you enjoy the ones you have.

Don't waste time or money "keeping up with the Joneses". Spend it wearing your kilt and enjoying yourself, friends and family.

Hmm, bought my first August '08. Now have 7 but I sold two additional ones that were too big. I AM NOT ADDICTED!!! Oh, 2 tanks, 1 SWK heavyweight, 1 Sports Kilt, 1 USAK PV, 1 Blackwatch MoD and a cheap wool knockabout purchased on EBAY.
