How Are You Spending Your Refund?
I sat down and did my taxes this weekend (I finally got the last piece of info I needed). It turns out that because I made some extra donations this year that I'm getting a larger refund. Now, I usually try to arrange it so that I get a close as I can to niether having to pay or getting a refund. I figure there's no reason I should give the government an interest free loan.
Anyway, because the refund is larger, I decided to treat myself with a kilt related purchase. I have order a navy blue Argyle jacket and matching waistcoat. Unfortunately, anything else needs to go to paying off the credit card.
How are you all spending your refunds?

I'm going to finish me degree in Criminal Justice. Not that it'll help anything other than an ego booster that I have one. I will be getting my GI Bill money too so with that money me, Dana and a group are going on a bus tour of Ireland in November.
Hopefully I can wrangle a kilt or two out of the deal too.
Was thinking of either a Saffron or Clark.

Well, I don't really get anything like that in Scotland.
My wife, however, is kindly using at least part of hers as a deposit on a place for us to live when I get over there!

I've heard of tax refunds. I just thought they were a myth.

If I get a refund, and if I can talk my wife into letting me have some of it, I think I'll either order a tweed kilt from Matt, or save my refund for a bigger purchase, like a vintage motorcycle... Maybe an old Triumph... Or perhaps a Vespa.

Isn't that the truth. I'm firmly in the mule class, I'm afraid.
