    I actually saw an Instakilt.

I was at the East Durham Irish Festival on Sunday, wearing my Irish National kilt, when my daughter spotted a guy in one of these:

My daughter, who knows me as well, said, "Please don't say anything. He's bigger than you!" I think what bugged me most is that the colors of the damned thing were pretty close to what I was wearing.

Maybe he had just stepped out of the pool or shower?

    Cheers

If so, he stepped out for over an hour that I know of. Saw him multiple times. Later on, Woodsheal came along with his blackthorn walking stick and saw the guy, too. I asked my daughter if I could say something, then, because there were two of us and we had a stick. She still said no.

HAHAHA! Easy there! Maybe he was just wearing it to be funny? Surely he wouldn't think of it as a proper alternative to the kilt (as if there is such a thing?!?).

It's actually pretty funny, but you gotta cut him some slack. I mean, *we* are asking the rest of humanity to accept our particular manner of dress as acceptable for anytime, anywhere. Why is this any different?
