I was asked to be a friends best man!
Two of my best friends are getting married next year, and I was asked to be the best man! They both talked to me about on Saturday, and the great thing is that even though it's not a kilted wedding, they both want me to be in my Highland formal wear! Everyone else is wearing tuxedos. I told them that I am, of course, happy to do the same. They were insistant- James said that one thing he loves about me is my nonconformist streak, and that they wouldn't let me do it any other way.So... Speaking of which, the future Mrs is here to chat, so I'll post more later.

I'll bet that'll be a nice change of pace from your normal part in a wedding.
Experience is something you don't get untill just after you need it.

PC, black hose, brogues, and my Colorado tartan kilt. I will post pics for sure, Murdo, have no fear.
And yes, I'm very happy for them. I'm helping them plan it. Well, I'm helping Jan plan it.  James just says "Yep! I like it!" to avoid conflict. Gods bless him...
