So I just posted a new thread asking for differnet suggestions on washing my USA casual kilt which has been packed up for a while because I was in Belize on an Archaeological project for a month.
I then said I was glad I didn't take it seeing the shape some of my other clothes came back in but that's not completely true.
I did wish I had it with me when I was having to walk around like John Wayne for various reasons, one of which was chafing due to pants.
The other is because I got a bot fly on the inside of my leg and if my pants or something tuched the wound it caused immense pain for a couple of days.
On those days I was really wanting my kilt so I didn't have to worry so much about pant legs scraping raw skin.
Anyways, should i have taken it? and if I go back should I take it then, or not risk it?
And does anyone else have a story of kilts in tropical areas?
