    I didn't expect to win!

I was watching an auction for a black UK Workman, and before I left the house for the Thanksgiving thing with the relatives, I threw in a bid that just barely topped the current bid - $135. There was still two hours left, and I was fairly certain I would get knocked out of the auction.

Imagine my suprise to find, when I got home, that I had won it! They hit $200 on a regular basis; I guess everyone was too busy eating!

Someone else got a Caramel Workman at the same time for $102!

    Congratulations!!!

I think we better start watching those "I don't think I'll get it" bids. I placed a bid (minimum, starting bid) on a new H-R Harris Tweed jacket. After 2 more days of bidding, I now have it for the grand price of 109.45 USD and that included shipping.

Goth? Not Iolaus (see the goth thread). He was a disco duck.

    Cool score on Ebay, Iolaus!

As for the errors of our youth...I still have one black and one grey skinny leather tie from my mid-80's days.

I do like the looks of the black workman's, a very versatile piece of garment.
