I found another kiltie near me!

I was at the mall today, and I was looking at religious holiday art and things of that nature, when the salesman came up and started talking to me about my kilt. Much to my surprise, he wears a kilt and plays snare in a semi-local pipe band. We had a nice chat, and I referred him here, and invited him to church with me, as we are both Eastern Orthodox Christians.

He mentioned that his pipe band is a bit short handed(actually, he darn near begged me to join), and while I don't play the pipes, I can keep a beat... We'll see if that goes anywhere. Hopefully I'll see more of him around town, and hopefully he'll join the rabble here.

    Oh, and merry Christmas all!

    found three kilties near me

While shopping in a fabric store kilted before Thanksgiving, I was approached by three gentleman asking about the kilt I was wearing (homemade black denim). Soon the conversation revealed that the three in Levis were also kilties when not in work attire. They have since joined with me in church kilted. Our congregation in Boston is now regularly seeing a half dozen kilties on Sunday. The others have been invited to scope out this board.
