    I have a little luck

Sorry it has been a while - been harassing the wife about stuff and finally won!

Found an actual kilt here in my size, low price, looks like Black Watch, should be at the door next week.

Now I can relax and get serious about making a modern kilt or two out of duck cloth or whatever is close here.

I apologize if in the wrong area, just excited to be a kilted man again soon....

Please keep us updated. A good "yarn" is worth the weight in gold.

I blame Mikilt for my pun usage.

    Tomorrow or Monday.

Late for my birthday, oh well, could be worse.

Panic set in about possible need for expansion (they build people here very small), saw the thread on belt extenders, so gonna build three tomorrow "just in case"

Been thinking about seeing what I can do with alpaca, we have a ton of it here....

oops, mind starts working faster than the pocket sometimes.

Also have some killer ideas for the Xkilt to make it mine (part of DIY, change it enough to make it yours)

    Thank's y'all for your patience

Mildly irritated but not really, just happy to be in a kilt again.

Fits, not wool - some poly blend (dude did not say anything, but more my fault for not asking, source of irritation) and took it out for a spin. Not bad, light summer kilt - winter here now, luckily I do not feel cold or hot when not freezing or boiling. Two comments in a highly prejudiced small town in Argentina (I get comments anyway for being North American, long hair and beard) - one was an old man I have known a long time and he was friends with my father in law, another was a kid on a bike (a girls bike none the less), talked with the old man for a bit, he was just busting chops and the kid ain't worth my time. Wife is excited to see it when she gets home. Luckily my wool one is en route. Changing everything from my chain wallet to a common wallet for the sporran was the hardest part.

After a decade of kiltlessness - feels good to be back

Thanks for the photo. I like the look and it seems comfortable. As you get the public used to seeing you kilted, you'll win the respect of the community faster.

Tarheel........remember, he's in Argentina. That might be easier said, than done.

Katzbalger........congrat's for finding a kilt, in the country. Take any luck (good) as you can get it.
