Even better than "Train Spotting"?

I watched it too, I must say the outfit worn by Roger Livesey as Torquil MacNeil was spot on, I especially liked the sporran, and Argyll jacket worn. For those interested here is a review:

I would reccomend this film wholeheartedly

Hmmm, I'm gonna check IMDB on it.

I think pdcorlis was the first to bring this movie to the attention of the rabble a few years back.
Since then I have rented it from Netflix a few times and your post reminds me to put it back on my queue again.
It is an absolutely charming movie and Roger Livesey attire is just perfect

This is the one with the very young Petula Clark in a minor role, is that right? An absolutely charming film. The extras on the DVD are worthwhile, too.

My very all time favorite kilted movie. I NEVER buy movies - but I do own a DVD of this Powell and Pressburger classic. It is a delightful tale and one of my rainy Saturday guilty pleasures.
