I now know what it feels like to be jonesing

Today I made it official. I was fitted, and paid my deposit. I will soon, well in about three months, be the proud owner of a 16oz, 9yrd Hunting MacIntosh kilt.

In the meantime I'll kilt on with my SWK, and maybe even get another through the net. I've been eye-balling the regimental reproductions at What Price Glory. I think one of those 22oz Black Watch kilts would be a perfect way to get through the winter.

Wow, 22oz is intimidating, even for a staunch 16oz-er like me! Congrats on the heavy kilt. It shan't disappoint!

    haha.
"Intimidating" is the PERFECT word for such a beast.

Don't hang it up; just stand it up in the corner. If you get one of What Price Glory's repro Government kilts, let me know what you think of it.

Easy Guys. I haven't ordered a 22oz kilt,....yet. I'm just considering one to help ease the jonesing. The kilt I've ordered is a 16oz. Check the Scottish list at
    http://www.whatpriceglory.com/
They've got four different heavy weight reproduction regimental kilts. Two are knife pleated, while two are box pleated. Seems to me these might be good for nights like tonight, or for other outdoor winter activities.

Oh no. Don't get me wrong. I'm sure those 22 ozers are great. I've even considered them. I just mean that it's one burly beast!

    That's not jonesing.

Jonesing is actually having the kilt in hand for five months but your wife won't let you wear it until the wedding...

    (sigh)

    Fortunately, that's over with.
