Re: I think he's going to do it!!

Darn I figured we had another kilted Lad in the Rabble. Don't give up on him yet... show him the pictures of the Lad who wore his tartan and I am sure he will re-think his position. It can be a big step for some guys but once they wear a kilt and see all the looks they get from other women and guys who wish they had the "oo" to wear one. He will be hooked.
I hope you are not the jealous kind because I can assure you he will get the looks.
Keep us posted and show us your Lads. I bet they like it.

I haven't given up, sevenoaks - I figure if I'm nasty about him not wearing the kilt this time, that really isn't going to motivate him to want to wear it next time.

Lucky for me, I'm not the jealous type - I love showing off my 2 kilted little lads, and can't wait to add my big lad to the Rabble

Auch they are fine pictures and fine strapping Lads. You must be proud of them. There will be a day when there Dad will walk tall beside his sons all of them looking smart and proud of there heritage.

That was only 1 of my lads - the other wasn't feeling all that well, so he stayed home with Dad.

Here's the other one modeling his Irish National:

What fine boys you have! You must be very proud of them, and for good reason!

Your husband is just a tad shy and self-conscious, that's all. How about you and he joining a kilt night in Vancouver, or joining the local St. Andrew's Club? He will be surrounded by kilts, and this may ease him into wearing one.

    Good Luck!
