Wow, does it ever suck. On the other hand, it makes it that much more fun when you finally get your item! April won't come fast enough...

I had to order a shirt for a wedding this weekend, and I went with FC, mostly due to it was closer than Cali (I wanted a black one, Rocky only had 'pale', Jerry doesn't have shirts...) and of course the discount code didn't hurt either. It said it wouldn't ship till Tuesday, so I refrained from even checking my email until then, and that's when I found out it shipped Monday, and was scheduled for the next day! Then the snow storm hit, it was in KY, with 'adverse weather' listed on status. I checked our mail box many times that day, the mail never ran. I go to check the mail again, and there was my package. UPS delivered when the US Mail wouldn't.

    Tatonka,
For the truly conditioned Jones artists list. Look under the Forums, X-Marks propaganda, The run of X-Marks tartan. Read the date of the Wizard of B.C.'s post, and realize the fabric has just arrived in B.C., it isn't even a kilt yet. Such is the Jones capability of the clan at X-Marks.

Oh, if you only knew. (Of course, you are finding out.)

This stuff just gets worse as you go. You start out small with hose and sporrans from ebay--waiting a week or two--and before you know it, you're spending hundreds on tanks and custom jackets and waiting months! Happy to wait months. Begging the best kilt makers to allow you get on their waiting lists so you can wait months for the privilege of wearing a true piece of art.

    Oh, the humanity!

BTW, where in Arkansas? I'm from NLR.

I scored some fabric on eBay back in November. The seller was in Scotland, and to save on shipping she offered to send it "surface mail". Over two months later and it hasn't arrived yet. (maybe it's traveling by kayak, or at least a small brigantine ) The Jones is so bad at this point that I can barely see straight! She did tell me that it would be 8 weeks more or less...she wasn't kidding!

The jones is nothing to joke about, Mister Man. It's a very serious thing.
