If you like wearing a beret...

If you like wearing a beret with your kilt here's a good source:

    South Pacific Berets

Daan is a interesting guy (I've exchanged a couple of emails with him). He's a Danish novelist living in New Zealand. I've bought a couple of the berets he carries (VERY nice!) so if your looking for a quality beret you can feel confident with your purchase.

He's a beret aficionado and also has a beret blog that's a fun read:

I like the way that the live traffic feed on the site (at the time I visited) showed all visitors bar one had arrived from xmarksthescot.com (Ooooh the power of this website...) Nice hats too. Personally not my kind of thing but interesting all the same. Cheers.

I wonder if Daan will take to kilting after he reviews those feeds.
    Best Regards John

I love the basque beret and have worn it for decades. I can assure you guys that the Elósequi brand is considered a quality product in Spain. They make the berets worn by the Spanish military. I made sure to pick up a couple the last time I was in Madrid.
