    I'm a lucky guy--my wife rocks!

So there's been a lot of work around our homestead this year with putting in a new kitchen etc, and every other week I've been off throwing at Highland Games somewhere in the tri-state area (its an addicition as strong as kilts boys) so when I'm home I work like a madman.

Yesterday I was finishing up and coming in for a quick bite and a shower when I noticed my wife had several kilts, hose and flashings laid out on the bed. I asked her what she was up to and she said, "Just trying to choose the right one". I then asked, "Right one for what?".

She held up two tickets in front of my face---Macbeth! Shakespeare in the Park!!!!

She said--If we're going to The Scottish play--the proper kilt is a MUST!"

Had a GRAND time--tons of compliments, even from the cast. Wore a MacLaren with green hose, yellow flashings and white dress shirt, dress belt and sporran.

Felt wonderful sitting out in the park into the evening enjoying a great play.

    I'm a lucky guy!

Remember, it did not happen if you got no Pics.

She got the tickets and laid out your outfit.....

That is great! I think I would enjoy MacBeth in a kilt, bravo to you and your lovely wife. I am also lucky in that my wife has encouraged me to get a kilt and am now on number four since she started encouraging me last year (had the family tank tucked away for ceremonies for about 25 years, but hadn't worn it in about ten).
Well, cheers to awesome wives and a happy life!

That's good she takes care of you! Nuturing your love of kilt, but also giving you some culture to boot! lol I am glad you both had a great time.
