Inducting a New Kiltie

I just finished helping my best friend order his first kilt. He asked me about how to get started, and I gave him advice on tartans, and inexpensive sources for a first kilt -- he quickly settled on a Stillwater standard in Black Watch, which, of course, won't introduce him to the joy of the Jones, but will get him clad in a kilt quickly.

I think it'll be interesting to watch his first steps in the kilted world -- and of course, I told him about X-Marks, so we'll see if he joins our rabble.
